Frequently Asked Questions

  • Direct foam injection

  • Bulk compounding followed by large-scale foaming to produce foam sheets.

In short: EVA foam with a rebound rate of ~4% or smaller ranks among the top tier of global shock-absorbing foam. It is a premier, high-damping, low-rebound material widely used where exceptional impact attenuation is required.

Because of its top-tier shock performance and low rebound, it is applied in fields with extreme impact-protection demands:

  • Elite sports protection:

    • Professional insoles/midsoles for running, basketball, etc., to absorb the large impact forces at footstrike and protect knees and joints. (Note: some high-propulsion foams like Nike ZoomX are PEBA-based and emphasize energy return; shock-absorption EVA focuses on buffering.)

    • Professional protective gear, e.g., shoulder pads and shin guards for rugby and ice hockey.

  • Industrial safety & precision equipment packaging:

    • Precision instrument packaging to protect hard drives, optical instruments, and similar items from transport shocks.

    • Industrial vibration-isolation pads for heavy machinery.

  • Medical & rehabilitation:

    • Orthotic insoles that provide stable support and shock absorption to reduce pressure on affected areas.

    • Anti-decubitus (pressure-relief) cushions that distribute weight and help prevent bedsores for long-term bedridden patients.

We offer two high-resilience grades. Brief introductions follow, referencing the shock-absorption descriptions above:

  1. Super-Elastic EVA Compound: extreme elasticity and fatigue resistance for maximum flexibility; ideal for moto pads, boxing guards, and advanced sports equipment.

  2. Rebound-Tuned EVA Polymer: adjustable rebound EVA with optimized energy-feedback ratios; suitable for custom footwear, protective wear, and vibration mounts.
